Pastelby Jelena73Comment: If it were a little bit sharper I'd have scored it higher. I'll go higher then middle of the road for the nice colors: 7 |

Whats Out Thereby C4PicturesComment: There are more interesting parts of the sky for sure. What you've captured is the handle of the Big Dipper. Or more correctly: the Tail of the Bear: Ursa Major. The named stars are left to right: Phecda (on the very edge), Megrez, Alioth, Mizar with it's double Alcor (It splits into a triple through a telescope) and lastly is Alkaid. The two brighter stars on the right-hand side are part of Bootes and the lower ones are part of Draco. So, I'm not sure if your photo title was a statement or a question. But, that's what's out there. Oh, and I'll score your photo a 9. |

The Milky Wayby BrianRComment: I don't like the title because it's not the Milky Way: or, at least it's not visible in your photo. I do however like your photo: which is what we're here to judge. 8 |

Marina Bay Skyline-Singaporeby andrewtComment: Very good for an Urban setting. Was hoping for more of natural setting for the challenge. Still, it's very good and interesting to me: 9 |

Iridium Flare in Leoby antares1966Comment: Nice catch! Would be interesting to know if you planned it this way or if it was by chance. Love the little lighting in the trees to the lower left. |

St Louis Gateway Arch on the Riverfrontby woolbr8stlComment: Hmmm? I'm not sure what to make of this. First, I really like the photo: it's totally cool. My only reserves are that I'm not buying it for what I think the challenge was calling for. To me, it looks like there is still a hint of color in the sky and clouds like it's still dusk or dawn. I'll still go high despite my confusion: 8 |
