I'm surprised you're the only one who tried this angle for 'Crime Scene'. I thought about doing a similar shot and decided to pass. I like the photo and I'll score it an 8 but I have no sympathy for you: the week you snapped this photo, regular unleaded was at $4.20 a gallon where I live and 'Super' approaching $4.50!

Just browsing newly uploaded photos and came across yours. It freaked me out for a second because I have a very similar photo and I thought somebody was playin' a trick of some sort on me.



Anyway, of course they are only similar at a very quick first glance and I'm impressed you took your photo at 200mm - it almost looks macro.

Hmmm? You're photo is probably going to smoke the heck out of mine. It's certainly a better photo by all means but if not for the title, I think it would be a far cry to see it as a 'Cowboy' shot. For me, the challenge was not only about 'Cowboy' but also a 'Memoriam' for a fellow photographer. Yeah, I know, 'Cause I'm wanted - Dead or Alive'. Maybe your idea was 'In Memoriam? He actually did have a challenge depicting a Motorcycle as seen here but I wonder how many voters will actually bother to see for themselves?

I'm not sure what it is but I'm impressed you have an hour glass! Just a tad oversharpened in spots to me but otherwise perfect. I think you have a photo with serious contention for a ribbon in this challenge.

I've seen better but certainly I've seen worse. For this challenge, I'm thinking this is exactly what they are looking for and I certainly could not do any better or even come close myself. The thing that gets me is for some reason, it looks like a photo of a photo. I doubt anyone would do that though. I think you stand a serious shot at a ribbon and it's most technical photo in the challenge.
