It's really cool but nothing in the photo is showing me 'Evening'. It's more 'Night' except your title with makes it shoehornish but certainly something I'm sure I've done before.

I'm not really a 'centered' person but this is working because the cows off-set the trees - barely. I think a little more space in the upper left might have helped. And maybe it's just late and my eyes are crooked, but the whole photo seems to be tilting to the left. Anyway - I live it. The colors and focus are great. It's a true evening shot: 9

I think what this needs is more contrast and some sharpening. I'd bet it would look really cool in black and white! Reminds me of where I used to live in Texas.
