I like this. The contrast of the green grass against the trees which look like they might be dead along with the old building. I live where everything is new and shiny. It's nice to see some historical photos. The focus looks very crisp to me. It's hard to imagine at one time, the building was occupied by humans - and probably in a grand fashion too!

Jo, this photo is awesome so don't tell me you don't know about camera settings and all that...! I think DPC'ers would really go for this type of photo and for many of the challenges it would fit right in there.

The only detraction, to me, are the two string lines. The 'X' is fabulous as it looks like either light from above or sand thrown out in the shape. Either way, very cool: 9

It's always sad to see these - I think you've captured this one very well. It looks a little faded but maybe done on purpose. I think maybe just a tad bit more contrast might be nicer but it could just be my monitor. Brightest Blessings...
