Lemonade...25 Centsby OneSweetSinComment: From the beginning I questioned my choice in titles for this photo. I wished I had went with my other thoughts and called this something to the effect of Junior Acheivement or Enterprising Youth. I wasn't trying to sell the idea of Smuckers but rather the idea of a child wanting to work to make money.
The pitcher with Smuckers on it was used cause it was available and I just didn't have time to go to the store for a plain glass pitcher so I worked with what I had.
As for the comments about his expression....well as I took the photo he was standing there yelling...Lemonade 25 cents...one quarter, two dimes and a nickel, five nickels, or 25 pennies...Oh what a street barker I have on my hands....LOL

Exceptional rose at sunrise.by cathysappComment: Critique Club
You have captured a nice amount of detail here and the photo itself has potential. I think it would have helped you to have cropped in on the photo more on the left side and moved the rose out of the center of the frame.
The lighting here is also an issue. It appears you had some backlighting making some good points of light, but the center of the rose seems lost in darkness and needs more light.
Keep up with the roses...they sure do make nice models, they don't move and they don't argue with you...lol...anyhow just watch out for the lighting and keep on shooting.

Gimme...Gimme...Gimme...by ursulasComment: Very cute...I think I have seen something similar to this on a regular basis on my deck too. Whatever that is in the top left corner it distracts from the pup and the milkbone. Now give that puppy his bone. =o) 7 for the cute puppy....I'm the animal lover! |

New Watermelon Flavorby CamComment: Very nice and appealing photo. Only problem I see is the bottle is crooked and would probably look better if it were rotated slightly to straighten it out. Still very nice...8 |

The bench appears to be your main focal point and should be in better focus. As it is now my attention is drawn to the road in the background for two reasons first it is brighter in contrast and secondly it appears to be in focus when compared to the bench.
Try having the bench in focus with the road out of focus and you will have a very strong photo.
