Sit Still. Watch. Enjoy....by BethieBComment: The photo should say "still" without the caption. This doesn't seem still because either the fronds are blowing or it is out of focus. |

If I'm holding still maybe they won't see meby LerinComment: I thought I'd left a comment on this but it didn't seem to stick. Anyway, I think a real frog might have been interesting, but this is kind of an ugly object, the face is shadowed and the top too shiny. The leaf in front is overexposed. |

The Giftby WINBIG7Comment: Nice colors, the frame works okay, but it is way too blurry. |

Still Lifeby cincolas1Comment: A low score from me because the doll shines with reflected light and the shirt on the left is overexposed. I don't think b&w has improved this photo -- some garish colors might have helped! |

rail way homeby kodagirlComment: A low score from me because the photo is too small and the sky appears washed out. You may have been trying to catch a reflection in the rail, but the centered composition is fairly dull. |

Rage of the Dragonby TaraWillComment: This doesn't seem to meet the challenge theme, unless in a general sense it's a "still" life, or perhaps a statue/figurine implies "still." Plastic is ugly by nature and hard to photograph. Credit to you for using depth of field to your advantage. |

"star Light"by ThaiComment: It looks like you used a flash, which is odd when capturing candlelight. The glass/candle is out of focus, it appears you used automatic focus and it focussed on the closest object. A deeper depth of field might have helped keep everything in focus. This doesn't say "still" to me. |

Apologies Shakespeare no tempest tonightby zozoComment: Aside from the dual-language hosptital sign, there's not much of interest in this photo. The building is very distorted. What is the yellow blob on the left? It's not apparent that this is about lack of wind because the way the windsock is built it looks like it is partly inflated. |

My Thoughtsby kje83Comment: The photo is too small to judge fairly, but my impression is that you snuck up behind a stranger and snapped his photo without concern for camera settings. One quick improvement might be to get down lower so it doesn't look like you are standing over him in a tourist stance. |

A Face Only A Mother Could Loveby ScubaSteve13Comment: Hmmm, sorry to give this such a low score, but it is out of focus, the ceiling light is over-exposed, and the tilted composition serves no purpose. Doesn't fit the challenge, either, does it? |
