Picnic at Noonby CamComment: An interesting find, makes for a good photo. I like the light on the big tree. Sorry, not an anachronism. I think the definition confused a lot of people. |

Disconnectedby ZoomdakComment: Out of place, yes, but not an anachronism. :-( Looks like you put some effort into this! |

¡ The Clock Pagoda !by tamatamaComment: Conceptually a very good answer to the theme. Technically the overexposed sky is a problem. Subjectively, I'm not crazy about the sepia tone, color could just as easily convey age (and increase visual interest). |

Fueling upby oskarComment: Cute idea, although it's not a true anachronism -- I think the definition of the word was unclear to many people. If the rider were wearing less modern clothing it might work better. I like the odd (coincidence?) that the green pump handle matches the green on the horse's bridle. You must have put some effort into arranging this photo shoot! |

The future is now !by AmasonComment: Perhaps not a true anachronism, as both man and location seem contemporary to me. Whatever the meaning, though, this is an interesting photo and conveys a sense of mystery which draws me in. |

v = 2.425by HeiSchComment: Fits the theme well enough, I think, though to call it a true anachronism might be inaccurate. My favorite thing in this photo is the hair! What a riot. |

It's a Shore Thing!by escapetoozComment: Really beautiful. Forgive me for saying so, but the anachronism is a bit too subtle: except for the barely noticeable Cinzano umbrella in the back, there's nothing here to indicate contemporary life. |

Ancestorby DefyTimeComment: This is one example when two objects from different time periods actually works -- maybe because they are not just placed side by side but are integrated into a concept. For a basically monochromatic image, this is surprisingly attractive. |
