This is interesting, the first thing I tried today was a soda can (7 Up), but it didn't come out at all, especially because of distortion. A little overexposed at the top right of the can, but I like the colors and the reflected color on the table.

Sean, it's good to try some of those challenge-unfriendly features like overlay textures. I like the composition with the jeans stud and keyring, and good lighting on the denim, though there is a glare on the keys.

As others have said, this could be more precisely level and symmetrical, but it's a unique angle on an everyday object. Good eye!

Yes, good choice of subject matter, but the colorful pin heads are the most interesting part of the photo and the focus seems to be on the edge of the clothes pin instead. May require switching from automatic focus to manual focus to overcome focussing on the closest edge.

Nice colors, good detail. Nice story, too! It appears you have set the doll against a dark blue or black background. This should work, but I see the shadow around the doll's head. Not sure how to overcome this lighting problem when taking the photo, but you might try burning the background (somehow making it darker) to hide the shadow. Or is that going about the problem backwards? :-p

Day 4 - Seaglass

How did you do this? Did you simply place the seaglass on a blue surface? It almost looks as if the background was removed. Great detail on the seaglass. it's amazing how a teeny-tiny hair (an eyelash?) stands out!
