T h r e e by JeffDayComment: I expect the "other style" of painting with light will score higher, but this is beautiful and equally valid. |

Light and Soundby tojlewisComment: Although the photo dimensions are rather awkward, this is nicely composed. The light on the violin is good, but the strongest feature is the smooth white outline you've painted, which looks like neon. Well done. |

Discussing The Finer Points of Warby TezComment: I think this is what candid photography is about! Something is happening here. The glimpse of Blair's face on the poster makes me laugh for some reason. Good use of b&w. |

Day10: Afternoon Coffeeby citymarsComment: Patricia asked for an explanation of lomo action. I just learned about it myself this week.
If you have the required software (e.g., Photoshop), there are "actions" or "scripts" that can be run on an image. These are a series of edits that are recorded in sequence so you can run them on an image without having to begin from scratch each time.
You can create your own actions, but some are available on the internet for download. One of these is a "lomo" action, short for lomography. For more information, try www.atncentral.com/. |

A Brief Moment of Silenceby jjbeguinComment: I've made this a favorite. Sincerely sorry to hear about the DQ. According to the current forum thread on this subject, it was not a unanimous decision. I hope you don't let it sour your feelings about DPC.

Wornby OmniComment: I'm sorry I didn't get around to full voting on this challenge, as this would have received a high score from me. The only suggestion I have is to maybe rotate (straighten) the photo so the lines are more perfectly horizontal, but this is a minor quibble. Anyhow, 30th place is excellent! Congrats. |

As Cities Burnby Joey LawrenceComment: Another great shot. All three you've posted for this band (so far) are good in their unique way. |

As Cities Burnby Joey LawrenceComment: Really great photo! Would love to see all four in a (whatever you call a triptych + 1). The front man is so separate from the back that it looks unreal -- not a bad look, though. |
