Day 19 - Brianby colorcarnivalComment: I'm glad you selected this photo, it has such an interesting story behind it. This has good character details like the two flag pins and the Earnhardt cap, and then the broken front teeth, too. I think anyone can be uncomfortable with a camera pointed at them -- I hate photos of myself!

19.jpgby ivale28Comment: Good catch, and good "bokeh" behind the moth.
That's curious about the white moths. I'm not sure if I've ever seen one before. (Holy moly, +42C = 108F!) |

Day-16.jpgby KenComment: Really, it's like being hypnotized by flowers: You WILL take my photo.
I'm barely interested in flower photos, but I think this is one of the special ones. |

Day-18.jpgby KenComment: This is a very nice portrait. How nice to have smooth skin without noise removal! :-) Btw, did you burn around her irises? It really makes the eyes pop. If BW Pro etc. did this, I'd say it might be worth the price after all. |

July 9: Butter Pecan Ice Creamby daboardergirlComment: Yeah, a little blurry, but after seeing all these food photos, I suspect it's blurry because you are in a hurry to get it in your mouth! Hehe, just kidding. I actually like that your 50 Days of Summer is about food. |

7/17 - Haagen-Daas, My Heroby RebeccaComment: The beautiful blue of the carton really stands out, and appropriately the background material reminds me of a picnic blanket. Good use of DOF.
I don't have a lactose problem, but I am trying to eat fewer calories. The other night I ate a Haagen Dazs milk chocolate and almond ice cream bar. Then I read the package. I couldn't believe how much fat and calories one little bar contains. |

7/15 - Family Businessby RebeccaComment: Cotton patches, eh? I thought these were either Stridex pads or waffles! Not that it hurts the photo, but I can't get a sense of size on these. I like the varying shades of gray and the deep black of the background. |
