What a sweet boy little, I love the composition. You'll find that DPC voters tend to feel that sharpness is paramount. Photos lose clarity when resizing, so you may need to experiment with resize techniques & parameters (e.g., bicubic, bilinear, etc.). Check out the DPC tutorials on saving for the web, too.

I didn't vote in this challenge, but (since you asked in the forums), without the title I see this as chess pieces in various stages of falling over. With the title I see this as a metaphor for Barack Obama falling over, i.e., being defeated (possibly after having defeated Hillary Clinton).

Forgetting metaphors, it's a nice photo of the black piece falling. The piece really stands out thanks to that lensbaby.

I like your general idea, but the connection between each cigarette and each "sin" needs to be stronger. You "tell" us with your captions that one means greed, another wrath, but it would be better if you showed us!
