Ushankaby SenayComment: Nice casual outdoor portrait and fits the theme of course. I'm curious if you used a fill-flash or other bounce light -- the exposure seems perfect. Sharp but not over-sharpened. Great smile and eyes on the model. Love the textures (especially in the hat) and the nearly all-white background, which is just varied enough to convey snow. And now I know what a Ushanka is! |

Feathers by JaimeVinasComment: Gorgeous, as usual. Amazing art direction in this one (the hat, makeup, coat, etc. all compliment the model's coloring). I'd say the only drawback (from a viewer's point of view) is a bit of over-familiarity with your beautiful model. On the other hand, many famous photographers have had their muse. :-D |

Waterfall.jpgby obscurityComment: Hey, Kent. Since you requested feedback... I don't know what's "right" or "wrong" about shooting waterfalls. The first thing that jumps out at me though is the water color seems too artificially blue, with almost a colorized look. As for the other things (length of exposure, etc.) hopefully you'll get some feedback from nature photogs.
It wasn't clear from your forum description if you ended up using a tripod or not, but since the leaves seem fairly sharp I'm guessing you did. |

windows by AlexSaberiComment: I imagine this is one of those public spaces that developers are forced to build in new buildings. It looks like a cold and somewhat sterile space, and the various bent figures in their coats all seem alone. The eye is drawn to the face of the man in the wheelchair, as he is the only one looking up. Overall a feeling of pathos. |
