Nice lighting and the pastels are very pleasing to look at. I think the hint of noise gives the image a bit of texture which I like. Only thing I don't care for is the centered composition and how the water droplet gets so little play on the bud. Might have had a bit more impact shot from a different angle to give that droplet its moment in the limelight.

I like this pose quite a bit. Not the usual pose I have seen with the violin. How do these look in b/w? I always think my violin looks best in bw. Seems to show off the textures in the wood better.
