Looks like a music video style ala NIN or Tool. Not surpising given the JL dvd you were checking out. Long live MTV art.

Seriously though, looks nice. Might have even greater effect if the eye on the hand were so flat in appearance, but had some shading so it looked three dimensional and 'real'.

Great photo. I'm going to give you a 10 just because this is going to get bent over and violated like you wouldn't believe, and I feel like one little 10 will ease some of the forthcoming pain. Would be a lot better if the whole bug were in focus. Lighting is tough up around F45, I know, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Uh-oh, a picture of a picture. I think that gets you drawn and quartered now.

Cool shot. I think the frame is a bit obnoxious, but overall I like the effect of purple and white that the border adds to.

Looks good though the dof could be just a tad greater to get those small, black mandibles completely in focus. Also there's a dust sot on the right edge that should be cloned out.

Nice lighting and the pastels are very pleasing to look at. I think the hint of noise gives the image a bit of texture which I like. Only thing I don't care for is the centered composition and how the water droplet gets so little play on the bud. Might have had a bit more impact shot from a different angle to give that droplet its moment in the limelight.
