Nicely done. Like the processing, composition. Hate to say it, I even like the border. If it is staged, it doesn't look like it which sets you above about 99% of the other shots in this challenge. Great job.

Don't need the long caption. Never, ever need the long caption. You never, ever, ever need the long caption. But, I like the shot and it meets the challenge well. Plus it is one of the few shots not obviously staged. Good job.

In Flight

I don't know if 'looking up' necessarily meets the challenge of shooting something from the perspective of the ground up. Setting that aside, the only thing to look at in the photo is the bird and the bird is out of focus. MAybe you were going for a soft look. I submit soft focus shots purposely and routinely get reamed for doing so, so I'm not holding it against you persay. However when there is simply nothing else in the shot and you can't make out any detail on the one thing that is in the shot you don't really end up with an interesting photograph. Good effort.

A Rose from any other view

Sort of from the ground up. Most interesting part of the flower is out of focus. Sky is blown out or darn close. Nothing really interests my eyes here. Good effort.

Railway to Heaven

Perspective here isn't from the ground up, it's from the ground straight forward. Flash so harsh in the foreground detracts greatly from what otherwise would have been a very moody shot with the sunset under that dark cloud and the lightning bolt. I like how the rails head off into infinity. Between the flash and, most importantly, the angle this was shot at I'm afraid this didn't score well with me. Good effort.

Images the size of a postage stamp dont' score well with me, and this one has the added disadvantage of not even attempting to meet the 'from the ground up' persective as challenged (unless bees have taken to flying on their sides). All of which is a shame because I think this is probably a beautiful photo. The colors work extremely well, it appears to be in perfect focus, the composition is excellent, and you captured the bee at the perfect moment. Really I would like to kick you for making me vote low on such a nice photo. Good effort.
