Rebelby massmediakid31Comment: Really nice. Perfect dof, great colors and contrast. Only way it could be better would be to have caught him right as he shot so there was some action there at the end of the barrel. Interested to see how this fares when voting ends. One of my fav shots in the challenge. Unfortunately being one of my favs probably does not bode well for you lol. |

Forms & Lightby AkchasComment: I'm sorry but if you had this very hot girl at your disposal for a shoot, and this was the best of the shoot... The lighting here is very poor. Nothing is really in focus. Maybe you were going for a soft focus approach, but it's not working here. Strangely I think this would be about 10 times better rotated 90 degrees clockwise. Then it would be a sexy pose even if it would appear as if she were hovering. Sorry to be harsh, but I could kick you for teasing me with this pretty women and not delivering. |

Dragon Breathby GatorguyComment: Really cool. Too bad you didn't get the whole fireball in the frame, but cool nontheless. Good luck! |

Ruralby eye has not seenComment: This is either radically underexposed or you've really stomped on it in post processing. Either way it's far, far too dark and the colors are lifeless. Good luck. |

concentrationby ursulaComment: Nice concept. Processing is overdone. Dodged out all details from the top of the fingers. Burned the bottom of the chin almost into the background. Neck is also burned a bit much making this look like a floating head. Slightly different angle would also have prevented the eyelashes of his right eye from appearing as a tuft of hair on the nose. Bit of haloing visible along the ridge of the nose and the outline of the hand. Overall, nice shot. No doubt it will score extremely well. |

Purple Hazeby jdannelsComment: Not bad, not great, not very engaging. I wonder how this would look cropped down so the tree is more prominent and the purple tones dominate the sky rather than look like they are being crushed by that incoming wave of blue. Good luck!
edit: on uncalibrated piece of junk work monitor running 16 bit color, the sky is more purple than blue. Damn color management! |

by ltlmschrisssComment: I've just let all sorts of reds and pinks and all other sorts of colors pass as 'might possibly be purple' but I just can't see purple here. Speaking directly to the photo, it is very dark and unfortunately it appears as if you focused on the hair instead of the object in the foreground. Good luck. |

Prestigeby DefyTimeComment: Very cool shot except for the white stem beneath. While you can't clone it out, orienting thing so it was at least a vertical line would help. It completely wrecks the effect of this shot. Great tones and shadows in the flower petals though. Good luck. |
