Armoury Towerby FalcComment: Some pretty severe noise in the (horrible 70's looking) green areas, and I'm not even a noise nazi.
Some very, very strong symmetry and repeating patterns in the main subject area there. Certainly grabs the challenge topic by the throat! |

Terminal-1by FocusPointComment: Hope you write some notes on this shot after the challenge, explaining what patterns in it give it a sense of rhythm because I just don't see it. If anything its almost devoid of rhythm because the clouds and colors are very soothing and the single plane seems to enhance a sense of calm and isolation. |

SK Lineby neophyteComment: Hmm, comes across as a strong shoehorn rhythm from someone who happened to be sitting on a bunch of race shots and wanted to get one in the challenge. I could buy into repeating patterns of dismiliar cars with dismiliar colors, shapes, focus, etc but with one car dominating the shot none of the rest really have a chance to add to the rhythm of the scene. |

Rhythm of Summerby djofiComment: No real rhythm here, title notwithstanding. Lot of abstract lines in the water, and then a chain which happens to be hanging out there for some reason. Actually if the chain were in better focus, this might have drawn me in. Hard to say, this is not an easy shot to like. |

Ferned Outby jaysonmcComment: Nice patterns, but I don't get an overall sense of rhythm in the shot. Here's some patterns, there's some patterns. What ties this together? |

beepbeep mm beepbeep yeahby skewsmeComment: Nice eye. Pity the windows weren't equally horizontally spaced. Still, some crazy people like odd meters. The world can't be all 4/4. Nicely done. |

'the birds'by suemackComment: Don't really see any repeating pattern here. Yes there is more than one bird, but that's not quite the same thing. Setting the challenge aside, I think this would pop a bit more if you cropped off the two blurriest birds on the left and got the feeding dish down on the thirds intersection in the lower left. That might present a pleasing, sweeping arc of the dish and the birds to the right swooping upwards in the frame. |
