Turtle Formationby courtneeComment: Not the best composition and the lighting is pretty harsh. Does meet the challenge as far as I'm concerned, but there's a lot holding this shot back. The way the two on the right re looking up almost begs to have this cropped with the log at the bottom of the frame. |

abstract macroby alpharichComment: Doesn't really strike me as an abstract. It's clearly a mushroom cap. Very odd choice of aperture here. |

Balloons in the Sky Like Notes on a Scaleby Buckeye_FanComment: A thing you can do to avoid the ugly jaggies on thin diagonal lines (a phenomen that is particularly likely to occur when sizing images to the ridiculous limit imposed on us) is to go back with the history brush and remove the sharpening effect from them.
Nice shot. Balloons always look nice. Not sure if you had many options, but the Remax logo sort of spoils the effect for me. Adds a very commercial feel to the scene. |

Can you spot the frog on the lily padsby ladpupmoeComment: Shot meets the challenge. The lily pads give a nice sense of rhythm to the scene. Technically the shot needs some work. The flower is overexposed and almost completely without detail. Also it might be more pleasing were the subject (the flower) on a thirds intersection. In the lower left it would nicely anchor the shot. |

With The Greatest Of Easeby scarbrdComment: The rhythm is escaping me. No very strong repetition of any subject or theme or pattern. It's not a bad shot, but I'm just failing to see how it's fitting into the challenge. Look forward to reading your notes afterwards. |

Rhythm Of The Canyonby Wenders11Comment: I like the patterns created by the tree lines on the right and the dark shadows on the left slope. Not sure I would say they define the shot or add a real sense of rhythm, but overall it's a nice scene. |

Rhythm In Nature's Patternsby J-MeComment: I imagine you are taking a beating on this one. Tree bark could work for this challenge. Perhaps losing the blownout portion on the right of the shot would better focus attention on the patterns in your subject. Also, the subject itself needs to be in good focus without a heavy reliance on unsharp. Further, I think you could really increase the impact (and thus the 'wow' factor) by presenting this in black and white. It might make the most out of the paterns/rhythm in the bark by highlighting the contrasts of light and shapes contained within. |

Waves and Ripplesby BeeCeeComment: Strange. I hope you spend more time on this subject using different approaches to lighting, because somewhere out thre is a magic combination of subject and light which would cause this shot to just lay me out. As it is, it meets the challenge and is certainly unique but it leaves my eyes asking for more. |

Pipe and Picadillyby wetlandComment: Meets the challenge. I even like how the bare section of wall and pipe break up the rhythm of the rest of the shot. Wow factor? None. But I've been clicking through a lot worse on my way here. |

Melting The Rythmic Barrior.by JopperTomComment: Sorry, this just doesn't work for me. I like how the patterns of horizontal lines also form vertical lines, but the lighting and composition and processing are just not good imo. |
