Lol. this is an awesome shot. I hope you are into hockey because I'd love to see you and your gear hit the ice this winter.

Now I see the original entry. I'm sure the selective desat outtake would have gotten abused a bit, but between the two I find myself thinking its the stronger shot.

Very pretty shot. I agree with Jutilda and find that backing off the blur over the eyes adds just the right amount of pop to the portrait. Regardless, this looks great.

edit: but I suppose in a 'sharpless' challenge, whatever the hell sharpless is heh, the eyes must be blurry with the rest! ;)

Nice clean shot. Would work a lot better if you could see the guy's face. He could be banging his fist against the wall in anger for all I can tell from this. Like the processing quite a bit.

Actually think a bit slower shutter might have given this just the right amount of pleasing motion blur. Looks a little static to me and that pulls back the sense of energy. Might bump the contrast a bit as well.

Suppose that's a triumph of sorts. Getting a guy to agree to letting you balance on his forehead.

Meets the challenge, and it's cool that you share part of your life story in your photo. At the same time, within the context of a dpc challenge, this is a pretty boring type of shot that will not fare well.

Nice eagle shot, very crisp and clean. Too bad about the wing getting clipped off on the left.
