Day 12 - Moths to the flameby BarbBComment: This is really unique and very interesting. If the pole were tack sharp, this would be a great shot. Love those crazy patterns - great eye! |

Day 12 - Walk Onby shalrathComment: I like just about everything going on here from the candid nature of the shot to the processing to the composition. Only thing that bugs my eye is the kid being so blown out. |

Day 12: Closing Wordsby EstimatedEyesComment: I thought he died? As you can tell I don't follow this series other than catching the movies on cable. Not a lot going on in this shot to comment on. |

day-12by digitalpinsComment: Think the perspective distortion on this one sorts of holds it back. |

Day 12 - Linesby BudyaComment: This is great imo. Low key and lots of geometry - two things I tend to likein photographs. Like the texture on the blinds too. |

14 - Two Pigs at Restby ErikVComment: One more pig and you'd have a pink floyd song!
Cool composition and overall good shot. Not a big fan of the narrow crop. |

Okay, I give up!by deputyrickComment: Need to work on the lighting. All other comments regarding the model, while funny, say nothing about you unless you did her boob job.
The harsh shadow behind her and the shadows showing up on the background really pull the shot down. If this is onboard flash, consider sticking your flash on a stand and moving it off to the side. Check out strobist.com for some very good and easy to understand lighting tutorials. With better lighting, and your obvious access to some attractive subjects, you could really step these shots up.
Might play around with the crop as well. Lot of dead space above her that doesn't really add anything to the scene. |
