Ensign E29by paynekjComment: The box cameras are always intriguing - you would think they look the way they do because it was such 'early days' that designs were simple and utilitarian, but they were manufactured all through the years that other cameras were designed to be far more flashy. I suppose it was a cost thing - cheap equaled no-frills design. |

No. 1A Pocket Kodakby paynekjComment: You've got an early one there - that Eastman Kodak logo at the top of the lens dates from 1907. This specimen looks to be in good condition, looks like Model D 1909-1915. If you remove the film cover on the back and look on the inside of the cover, there might be further information etched there that states the model (there were a # of variations of the No. 1A non-autographic). |

Canon Elanby Yo_SpiffComment: Sad to see such a capable camera going so cheaply really - but a good buy for you of course. |

Panoramaby paynekjComment: Second time's the charm! Will you try developing the film you found in the cam? |

Panox-2 Wayby paynekjComment: How funny! Never heard of this one - can't find much info on it either, other than posts on Flickr from other people who own one. |

Roverby paynekjComment: "My main problem with this camera is that the lens falls off..." Well, goodness, that's a pretty big problem! I suppose taping it down doesn't help? |

Accessorize! by HipychikComment: I remember this shot - so simple and straightforward but succeeds well in capturing a sense of era. |

Weston 650 light meterby Yo_SpiffComment: If it's turned green from corrosion, it qualifies as an antique. :) I like the slightly Art Deco-ish logo design on the front. |
