Yertle The Turtle was King of The Pondby JuliBocComment: I'm glad you resisted the urge to stack them before you took the picture, although it looks like the big one is taking a step in that direction. :D I liked Yertle, it was my favorite book. |

Green eggs and ham! Yummy!by snafflesComment: Ew. Can't say I'd go for green eggs and ham - good job getting it to look so green (although, technically, no one ever said the ham had to be green, LOL)! |

I Can Draw Myself!! (1970)by SteveJComment: Neat idea - colorcarnival's suggestion for a seuss hat is great. Think this might have been improved by a different background, maybe a more contrasting color, than the wood desk. |

Could you, would you, with a goat?by skewsmeComment: This goat actually looks like it's considering the proposition. Sly and witty idea, expression on the goat is priceless. And apart from any challenge, this is a really nice picture of a goat! |

F-clef for big Fby silverfoxxComment: Striking and original b&w, with a slight surreality thrown in. I like this non-obvious take on a Seuss reference. |

Windows, Day 16by jackal9Comment: Nicely off-center, center comp would not have worked so well here as it did with your Symmetry entry. Great lively patterning on the surrounding wall. For me, I might have cropped off that bit of dark line along the top, it seems like it might distract too much and doesn't feel like it adds to (is necessary for) the composition. |
