sur le plage 2by tnunComment: Keith Carter's Fireflies is charming, I second that comparison. Sweet capture here, you can feel how engrossed they are. |

Pauseby RKTComment: wondrously precise focus and filling the frame is a good choice |

Tropical Sunriseby GermaineComment: striking juxtaposition between the verticality of the tallest palm and the spire - wonder how conversion to b&w might change things |

a coupleby ubiqueComment: I wonder if this is the same image layered slightly off kilter from itself - disorienting effect, and compels you to look harder - sort of cubist |

Untitledby aznymComment: this is all about lines - love it - the two diagonals on the left side (foreground and background) partially frame the central subject |

a1003933by MAKComment: I agree with Barbara about liking a bit more contrast with this sort of thing for my personal tastes, and could also be very effective in b&w. Nicely framed as is, but as I look longer at it I wonder if you could get more "movement" out of the composition if you put the middle of the leading column in the corner, rather than the left side of it - that would push the ceiling struts (?) at a diagonal to the square framing, rather than at a perpendicular, and coupled with the circular designs set the whole thing "turning". Might not have enough space in the original shot to do this, but it could be a interesting alternative comp. |

in hindsightby mariucaComment: is this at Grounds for Sculpture in NJ? I went there once for a DPC GTG with a few other members, and saw this there - just dug out mine:
this b&w treatment lends a more foreboding feel |

Unsolicitedby streetpigeonComment: fine division of the frame with the reflected elements - I need to be more mindful of reflections, myself, as you prove here how fascinating they can be |
