Adagio in B Minorby posthumousComment: Beautiful processing and I like how you captured the light of the day in the sheen on the boys' backs, and how the dark and light patterning of the background tree line makes it's own rhythmic contribution to the composition. I admit I did not see the rhythm in this until I was able to read your explanation - but I appreciate the thought and subtlety here. I find myself wanting to see less of the foreground grass...but I can't tell if removing it will help or harm the image overall. |

day 9 - traffic coneby GinaRothfelsComment: What I really like about this is the lighting, and how you composed it to make the long shadow act as a leading line. Such a simple subject that most people would walk on by, but I think you made something interesting out of it. |

Spider's Spinnakerby annigComment: Very pretty - the gossamer effect, the color contrast; for me though the framing seems too cramped for the billowy nature of the subject, I feel myself wanting to see more room around it, to also see the web in full. |

by JPRComment: I get a sense of agitation here, which leads me to think the blur is more because the subjects are truly hurrying and not just caught by a long exposure. Why is the person in the back fleeing? What propels them all along? Good job making the viewer wonder about your subjects. |

Ridingby magenmarieComment: Hard to look at this and not get the sensation I'm about to be flung. Great subject for blurred motion. |

Svabbi IIby heidaComment: Something wicked this way comes...very foreboding. The blur adds a sense of furtiveness, even panic, to the overall impact. |

Walkby heidaComment: Now I like the tilt here - possibly because it complements and accelerates the central subject, the pedestrians. I like how you have the two of them framed between the lights. |
