Cycle of lifeby quiet_observationComment: And here I am sitting in front of the tv as I type this. ;) I suppose this means I'll be mossy soon enough. I like the inclusion of foreground and background bokeh here. |

Natural Suspensionby colorcarnivalComment: Beautiful job on this. I love the simplicity of the whole thing - the composition, the color palette, the subject. Stunning. A well-deserved top 20! |

Rhapsodyby noranekoComment: Lordy, that's some beautiful bokeh. Gorgeous outlining and detail in that leaf. Congrats on a top 20! |

Carrickfergusby raishComment: Absolutely loved this shot when I saw it - what a face, full of character and placed so well in the environment. The only distraction is the red arm right next to his face, but the moment, that expression, was just right and waiting for the arm to be put down or changing the perspective to avoid it would have missed a great capture. Very nice use of bokeh to compliment the scene - it *is* the scene. :) This is a great shot and deserved better in the scoring. |

Beach Beauty...by sonygirlComment: I thought this was a beautiful use of bokeh to add to the composition and gave it a 10 - this shot deserved a better score. Beautifully lit and arranged, and I like how the bokeh is still abstractly recognizable as a beach scene, with all its paraphernalia. |

Nowhere manby jmritzComment: What is this, shot through cellophane? Great effect - wonder if the real day was as stormy as this makes it look. |

Parallaxby KaliComment: Wow - this is powerful - the child that is in all of us running ahead while we look on, envious. Great juxtaposition of hands in pockets/hands spread out - it speaks, to me, of how adulthood can make us more closed-in than our childish selves. |

The Wisdom of Lao Tzuby skewsmeComment: Great shot - personally I find it hard to get so much tonal detail in skies when I keep them in color instead of converting to b&w. The quote is perfect for it. |

Be Creativeby MelethiaComment: So glad to see this was from a TSer! Gave it a ten - not just a great idea but a great shot - excellent use of angles and shadows. |
