Raptby posthumousComment: Title is the perfect complement - great candid. Those slightly wavy lines of cobblestones make for the best backdrop. |

Checkmate.jpgby KronusComment: I'm sure there are some IR purists out there who wish you'd move that hulking gravestone out of the way of the background trees, but I rather like it. :) The overall effect of the shot is to set the viewer off kilter, and feel not quite safe - and this is a good thing. |

B & W Collectionby mia67Comment: Wow, another great portrait. You do these very well. Whenever I take shots of people squinting into the sun, they never come out half so good. ;) |

B & W Collectionby mia67Comment: A nice enigmatic expression on her face that invites a variety of interpretations. Wonderful lighting and detail - this is a *real person. |

Light Years in a Single Leafby posthumousComment: Lovely b&w and an unusual and touching take on the challenge. I believe there's a whole universe just in that one big dollop of dew at the front. Only detraction in the shot, for me, is the visible sensor dust in the background (if I'm correctly identifying it as sensor dust). |
