Canos de San Franciscoby bdennyComment: What a great find! Nicely whimsical, and good job on conveying the sense of the various surface textures. |

Thumbing My Wayby shalrathComment: Wow...took me a few minutes, but I finally got the connection to 6. Great job interpreting the challenge, and a great evocative image to boot. I like the toning, and the vignette works well, not too heavy-handed. |

Loveby mia67Comment: Great whiteout! And a nice direct gaze on your foreground subject. |

The Names Blonde . . . James Blonde . . by GiloComment: Great suggestion of Don's there - bring that left headlight down a bit and we could imagine a car lurking in the gloom beyond. I do like this lighting, but the figure seems a bit too smooth - literally smooth, like to much noise reduction was applied. |

On Deckby Bernard_MarxComment: This is great - the orientation disorients - I'm bobbing along on the rolling deck right along with him. |

Ristorante Da Brunoby Bernard_MarxComment: Seems like it would be tough to bike what you're hauling in front of you, rather than pulling it in back. Eh, what do I know? :) Nice tones, but the bike itself seems to be lacking just enough contrast that I find myself wishing it had more. Seems like the toning has the effect of blending the bike into the background instead of helping it stand apart. |

The Dalmatianby JedusiComment: Great capture of a Dal doing what it does best - being active. Nice depth and lighting, and visual variety to that expanse all around him. |

Bleak Houseby Bernard_MarxComment: The location is spare and run down, so yes, bleak, but your processing (is this split or duo toned?) gives the setting such lively contrasts that the "bleak" all but disappears. The shot is stirring (I think that's synonymous with "evocative"). ;) |
