This isn't just "another" swing - doesn't anyone remember swinging so hard and fast, getting up speed, and then LAUNCHing off? We used to play games to see how far we could launch. This is the best way to show that supremely childhood activity without including the child. I can easily imagine the child, out of shot on the right, in a crouch after having just landed, as the seat has moved into the backswing. Easily the best conceptual shot, and the best swing shot (because of the story it tells) of this challenge.

I agree with you, I think it was because your framing lines were diagonal, that threw people. Tilt your head, it's obvious! :) I liked the look of this, I thought it was a great study of light and shadow.

What a wonderful way to interpret this challenge - to equate a rainbow with joyful emotions, but yet express the joy in this photo without making it only about and expressed by the rainbow element itself. You picked a great backdrop too. Congratulations on your finish!
