Very nicely put together. I think some of the colored painting layer is obscuring the faces a bit too much (this all just my opinion, offered up as if this were "my shot", my aesthetic decision) - you might try masking it lightly in those areas, to bring out the faces more, but not so much that you then lose the idea of memory as a fading/obscuring thing, which you've captured so well here with the texture already.

Beautiful process of a well-timed shot. Don't see you breaking any thirds rule here, really. You may have been disappointed about not ribboning with such a worthy score, but getting to the top ten is no mean feat, either - congrats!

Took my eyes a minute to adjust before I saw that rising tide of trees looming beyond. This shot has both a quiet and an unsettling vibe to it - very nice!

Interesting juxtaposition - seems a bit hemmed in at the sides to me, though. Have never tried a green IR before - that's quite a nice looking shade. An emerald eye...
