Pond Ice and Reedsby Bear_MusicComment: Brittle - that's the word that the combination of focus (or not) and the colors bring to mind - brittle. Gorgeous. |

magnoliaby ErinMComment: Lovely. The tree appears to be shaking itself dry, like a wet dog. |

sentinelby Ecce_SignumComment: Jeez, there's something so quintessentially zen about this. It's thrilling, isn't it, to go off the reservation focus-wise? |

Form and lightby MelethiaComment: I keep trying for shots like this, that are all about suggestion (of shape, and color, and light), but I rarely succeed. I also rarely point my camera at people and storefronts - I suppose I should work on that. |

Steps and doorby MelethiaComment: That LB blur tends to lend certain shots, like this one, with sense of impending momentousness - something important is about to happen, right *there*. |

archwayby cginoComment: This shot is appealing to me, and I'm having a hard time trying to say why or how - maybe it's the color contrasts. I feel like I'm taking it all in by moonlight. |

Pigeon graffitiby MelethiaComment: I do that too - I still haven't figured out how to correct for it, that's why the focus in many of my LB shots are purely serendipitous. :) I imagine they saw you coming and ditched the spray cans fast - pecking around, looking all innocent. Yeah, sure. |
