easterby karmatComment: This is kind of cute, like we're looking through a peephole - appropriately enough to look at a Peep. Actually I think that's the size pinhole you're supposed to have for a Canon EOS, but you do need a lot of light or ridiculously high ISO to help avoid overlong exposure times. |

The Happy Farmerby pointandshootComment: I like how you can easily recognize every element, even though everything is of similar shades of brown. And of course, the farmer lacking his head adds that extra touch of the macabre (for some reason it puts me in mind of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen and the King of the Moon character). This is through your greenhouse plastic, is it? |

Cat with coffee cup in sepiaby MelethiaComment: I've been reading up on "best practices" for zp, and they say hard/harshly lighted images are the hardest to manage. Like this one, with the harsh sun - I still think they come out beautifully, but I've found it forces you to live with the low contrast, when otherwise you might be tempted to "fix" it - if you try to boost contrast it become difficult to manage detail in the extremes. I've got a kitty zone plate that looks just like this one!
I like that he's using the espresso machine as a window seat - I mean, that's why you bought it, right? |

Fuzzy tulipsby MelethiaComment: Yep, they got that telltale irradiated glow. :) I like how the colors intermix and everything leans away just slightly enough to draw the eye up and through the image. |

Archieby Ecce_SignumComment: This is lovely - you got a good bit of detail in the fur out of this zp! |

Concertina tulipsby MelethiaComment: Interesting juxtaposition - tiptoeing through those tulips can slice you up pretty badly. :) |

Openby karmatComment: This is pretty cool, really - took me several moments to work out just what I was seeing - a jack between the opened ends of a plastic egg? Learning to sight the composition can be pretty hard - but you've picked good contrasting subjects. |

Bentby HipychikComment: I like what you did with the composition here - generates an energy that runs counter to the dead or dormant subjects. Has a certain austere elegance too. |
