boothby RetroesqueComment: I thought they were gymnastic rings or some such too - had me staring in wonderment for a moment at the apparent incongruity, and also thinking how cool it would be to have gymnastic equipment in the living room!
Sorry you have to give up a home you so clearly tailored for yourself, even as you do look forward to your new dwelling place. |

Nov 03 - Ducksby hajekaComment: I think some might not realize you are actually using a tilt/shift lens and not a LB, which doesn't get you exactly the same look. The focused part wouldn't go straight out to the edges of the image with a lensbaby, so this TS-E lens allows you to slice up the shot in a way the lb can't - it's like you've caught them passing between two worlds. I like how the strip of focus runs counter to the overall horizontal orientation of everything else, creates a tension. A TS-E is on my wish list. :) |

Trafficby bvyComment: Got a good gritty feel to it - I like how the light leaks remind me of stoplights - 4 of them, like exclamation points, stop!, stop!, stop!, stop! |

Second Avenueby bvyComment: The light leaks seem to echo the verticality of much of the structures you captured here (man included, I guess!). |

Amy Epsteinby bvyComment: Would love to see some double exposures. The people here all look like something's drawing them in the same direction, makes me want to peek around the corner. |

hawkby poserComment: Wow! Seems to be a good fit for a lensbaby - the blur really adds to the notion of speed here. |
