Bucolic in Blueby alfrescoComment: This is one of my favorite images in this vast category. I could just sit and stare at this all day. Why? It is peaceful and the clarity is just outstanding. The blues and whites lull you into this starkly beautiful landscape. Excellent job! |

Winters Songby ShutterPugComment: Beautiful capture. I miss this sort of scene in our part of the world. We've had such a warm winter and I'm still waiting to roam about in a winter wonderland. This is a reminder of times to come, I hope. Congrats on a job well done! |

Hope I didn't hurt your feelings? Noticed that you didn't mark your negative comments here as helpful. Hope you can see the positive in the negatives? |
Thanks for your comments. This was taken along the southern Rhode Island shoreline. I go there often to study the receding light on the wet rocks. It does look surreal to me at times depending on the amount of colors at sunset. I was lucky with this one to tap the strong evening hues on the rocks.
I welcome feedback, negative or otherwise. The one negative comment on this image wasn't particularly helpful since I did very little post-processing on this image. The original looks almost the same. I generally shy away from over-processing an image and prefer to take lots of pictures to insure the results I'm after. I was hoping to respond, but have to wait until after the challenge to do so.
Thanks again for taking the time to comment. Message edited by author 2007-01-09 11:22:52. |
