wow, what a great idea using a b/w layer with blue filter!! congrats on your ribbon, this is spectacular for the theme. i have a fear of dolls, puppets, etc. mostly because of the frozen-in-time stares, always have, but this is so well deserving of it's ribbon!

this just does not hold my interest at all, it's two 'floating' shells that lack any kind of interesting background, show no details whatsoever and are not as focused as they could be

ok, the fire hydrant is on fire, so i do see the irony but i have yet to figure out the contest theme depicted in your shot; i don't read that language on the wall, so am not sure if that has symbolic meaning; i love the tilt and i love the shot, but i just dont get it; i will keep coming back to look at it, and if i figure out some sort of double take according to the contest description, i will raise my score of your photo
