Interesting display, but there are so many sparks I can't really understand what I'm looking at. And I don't get the mystery or magic here. The composition is a little loose, too - a lot of the water at the bottom could be cropped out to draw the eye more to the ship.

Outside of this challenge, this might be more interesting, but here, I'm giving it a 3.

I like the picture outside of this challenge. The flame and its reflection in the melted wax are interesting. But I get no connection to mystery or magic from the image itself. I don't tend to like it when the title carries the connection by itself. 4.

To me, the picture has to carry the story. The title can add a little extra zing, but can't move the entire concept into the challenge. This is an interesting photo, but not making me think of either mystery or magic.

Her expression is good, the high contrast works well here. So it's a good shot outside of this challenge, which from me nets a 4.

Okay, I get the point. But the image doesn't really grab me. It comes across as more of an accidental double exposure than an illusion. Maybe it's because the picture is at such a high angle I can't see what it is? Does it relate to the doll somehow? 4.
