That's really a cool shot. The eye is wonderful.

I take it the water was flowing, and that made the ripples? Looks like it's been glazed. Very nice effect.

Sorry, but this is badly out of focus and it doesn't fit the challenge. A little more out of focus and it'd actually make a nice abstract.

Well, I gave this a 5, which to me means "met the challenge, but didn't grab me." Why? Not much I can really put my finger on. Which pretty much means it just didn't strike my fancy, which means you can safely ignore my opinion. :)

Got a 7 from me. :) Really liked how you captured that "WOW" feeling of looking out the window and seeing something like that. I also like how the color reflects on the tiles below the window.

I think you suffered for having a simple image in a challenge with so many visually powerful images. That said, I'll admit to voting this a 4. It just didn't grab me, the branches seem blurry, and the tight vertical shape didn't capture the grand feeling I have for the sky.

On the other hand, Don made it a favorite.

Simplicity can work for the broader voting audience, though. Look at BradP's entry, as well as his challenge entry "Solo."

Just accept you didn't hit the mark with most voters, decide whether you like it anyway, and keep shooting. :)
