Looks like you're solving your lack of sharpness. On the border, how did it look with just a plain divider instead of the 3-part one? I'm finding that distracting. A wider, single black line will divide it up visually more, I'm thinking. This strikes me as a single picture with a grid over it as opposed to a 3-panel triptych.

This is a great composition. The snow's coming out gray, though. Try adjusting it with curves. If you have Photoshop, click the white eyedropped in the curves window and then click the brightest part of the snow to make it white.
