Pride Before A Fallby SteveJComment: Steve, the idea is solid. Try adding another light or two to the sides to soften the shadows. Also try putting tissue over the flash or lamps (I use the kind you put in gift bags) to diffuse the light.
Also, it's worth learning the clone tool if your software supports it - the hairs on the bottom are distracting. |

Untitledby Bruce_the_RobertComment: Nice shot, Rob. To improve it a bit, try two different crops: one with most of the right side removed so the branch ends closer to the right edge and one much wider (if you have the pixels in the original). Both would move the branch out of the middle. |
