Nice idea and good storytelling in the photo. I think it'd have more impact if you cropped out the large black area in the lower right, though. The lit part of your image is only about 1/4 of the total.

Nice composition and DOF. The lighting's a little dim, though, and it looks like you're lecturing to an empty classroom. I'm guessing you are, since it'd be hard to do this with a class there!

As a picture, the flag is cluttering things up for me, and the straight-up presentation isn't particularly engaging me.
