11 - Ribbons

I am normally not a fan of high key but this makes me want to get out of my comfort zone and try it myself. I am usually a high contrast/low key kinda of gal. I really love the candid shot and the fact that you left a little pink in the ribbon. It really is a neat photo. As others have said this is a timeless piece to be treasured always. Well, maybe I will try this process out before this side challege is over. We will see.

I love candid shots. I like how the background is blurry and dark. That causes your subject to stand out. The lighting and tones are very nice. You did a fantastic job.

Awsome shot. As soon as it popped up I noticed it looked like a Dodo bird. I agree with iamwoman, this would have done great in the Dr. Seuss Challenge. Love the crisp lines and the silhouette. Great job.

Day 11 - Chain Links

Wow. I love the DOF and texture in the chains. I can even see a fine hint of a spider web. Very nice photo. I agree it is really dramatic in B/W. Great job.

Love the composition. May want to try focusing on the girls nose and changing the f-stop to f8 or f11 so more of her face is in focus. Great shallow dof and tones. Your friend should be happy either way.

Fishing

Would love to be doing that right now. Great perspective and placement of the people fishing. I can't help but feel there should be more contrast. The tones seemed to be muted. IMO. Still a nice photo.
