The Lookby nathaliedooComment: Thanks Doug! Appreciate mostly all your comments. The only thing I'd like to clarify is that there was only one light source: a flash! maybe this is what did the trick of many glares. Besides, Of course, if post processing would have been allowed I wouold have limited the yellow color to the eye but I couldn't and didn't dislike the effect but it seems to have to many commenters so I guess I should remember it next time! Thanks for your time, always a pleasure to read you!

A Kiss ...by nathaliedooComment: Originally posted by Jacko: Excellent one of my favorites this week. Please give us the details of your entry. Loved the high key effect. Jacko. |
Thanks to you and all the other commenters! This shot was done this way: I was a bit at the last minute and couldn't come with a setup so, I wore bright red lipstick and took a macro shot of my mouth. By playing with high saturation and contrats keys I was able to remove all the skin tones leaving the background totally white. Then I rotated the image, stretched the canvas and Voilà ! Is that digital art as someone mentioned? I'm not sure since the image is not really distorted from it's original state...
Hope that answers your questions!
And thanks again for your great comments!
