I think this is a great idea but I'd prefer the picture if it wasn't so "red" looking (even the stainless steel looks pink). I also think having a few more flavours of ice cream in different colours would have added to the "indulgent" feel and made the picture more interesting to look at. I do like this though!

this looks very clear, nice colours etc etc, but I don't think it fits the challenge very well - there are some cleverer ideas than this (although technically your photo looks good).

This is fantastic. I'm so glad it's in b&w too - the shapes are what make it, and they are shown off brilliantly without the distraction of colour. I'm expecting to see this do very well indeed!

hmmm.....why the dvds behind him? They are very offputting and ruin the "fatherly" moment for me. I don't really like the star effect edge much either. I do like the portrait of father and baby in the midst of it all though - a very gentle expression on his face and in his hand - it's a shame this isn't all there is to see in the picture as it would have scored much higher
