Shades of Yesterdayby MollyComment: great image, nice comp, but that level of saturation is just too much. Yes, you want the colours to pop, but at the same time keep it looking fairly natural. |

Touchdownby RistyzComment: Love this shot, Risty! And not surprised you put a gorillapod to good use. I guess you had a filter on to help protect lens from dust?
Oh btw, have you ever shot at that really cool x-country course out in the desert - can't remember if it's Arizona or New Mexico - believe it's called Moonrock? I remember seeing a writeup on it in PH years ago and thinking what fun it would be to ride that course.
Nowadays, though, I think it would be far more fun to shoot that course instead! |

SAM The Record Man - We will miss youby Shutter-For-HireComment: *nostalgic sigh*
I missed that sign sooo much when I was last in TO. Back in the 80s my brother and I would coordinate our vacations, so that when he and his gf went off to say Mexico for 2 weeks, I'd book off work and go down to house/dog sit and of course wander around TO...though sad to say not with a camera, or at the time, probably nothing more fancy than a Kodak 110 or disk camera (remember those?)
Even so back then in my impressionable years, I knew that sign was special. So glad you captured it for us all, Eric! great work! |

One Stormy Nightby subject22Comment: Greetings from the Critique Club!
Initial impression: Is this really all one capture?! If so, WOW. Even if it is multiple captures, it doesn't look it.
Technical: Can't really find any faults from a technical standpoint. Barely any post-processing too, another bonus in my book. Amazing capture at the settings you used, and the lighting seems to have composed itself nicely for you! :-) The sliver of land and lights being dwarfed by the sky really make this shot.
Artistic: Achingly simple and beautifully done. Lovely.
Overall: Excellent shot and you did very well especially in such a large field, where a shot of anything and everything goes. Great work, I look forward to seeing more.
Feel free to PM me with any questions,
Susan |

New York Subwayby abrakatebraComment: Quite frightening but also true to life. The stark nasty subway lighting really makes this shot. 8 |

Overhauling by h2Comment: OK, so where are all these teeny painter guys on ladders coming from? Just wish this guy had a few convincing paint splotches on him. 9 |

Miss Merengueby tangueraComment: OMG that's merengue?! Wow! Pity about the reflection from the window, I'd have gone in and asked permission to shoot her. |
