Airborneby MsAmbrosiaComment: Great capture of the moment of suspension when all four of a galloping horse's hooves leave the ground. I just feel sorry that polo ponies have to wear huge gag bits like this one. 7 |

Foaming for the barrelsby FrancesJaneComment: Ahh, the crazy world of high-level eventing, grease on the legs and all...this looks like a CCI. Where did you shoot?
Another 1/100th of a second later and you probably would have had an excellent 3/4 shot of the entire horse and rider. Also, I wouldn't have bothered mentioning barrels in the title, I think many people are going to be expecting to see a barrel racer. Still, I know how hard it is to get a good shot of a horse and rider esp when they're going at Mach 3 like this pair! |

Walking the Dogby TransitComment: This shot is so twisted, funny and cute all at the same time. Well deserves the 9 I gave you in voting. Reminds me of a Tim Burton movie, looks like Edward Scissorhands' younger, not-Scissorhanded kid sister. Hilarious! I figured it would be too dark a shot to ribbon this time, but still, huge congrats on the top 10 finish. |

With a gust of wind, Chet's birthday took a sudden turn for the worse...by DrAchooComment: Hmm, I agree with too much turf showing below. It looks like a landscape shot with the child/balloons as almost an afterthought. A lower pof would have added a sense of dynamism.
ETA: if it's his birthday...well, could have a picnic table set up with a cake/party settings, extra kids etc. Just a thought. Message edited by author 2010-04-29 09:38:28. |

Sophieby MichaelCComment: uhmm there is something quite odd going on with the chin...I don't know if this was the best angle for such a strong-featured woman. |

Imposterby desertsnailComment: Terrific shot though if the right eye were closed, the left eye open and the face blank, the person could look even more balloon-like. |
