Small worm in waterby hajekaComment: The worm doesn't really add anything to the shot and the grey background makes the image rather dull. A secondary, colored light source would've helped. |

Carpool is 3 or More ...by GeneralEComment: This certainly fits the challenge, but the shot is lacking any interest or focal point. Oddly, this would be a great setting for a motion capture where the sign is in focus and the traffic blurred. |

Cedar Waxwings leavingby Melinda1950Comment: Eventhough this is slightly out of focus and you didn't completely stop the motion, I really like this shot. It has a certain ethereal or mystical feel to it. |

Frozen In Timeby JacksonGarietyComment: This is well captured, but the overall greyness of the shot makes it rather dull. The orange tone in the reflection doesn't add anything. A tighter crop may have helped this a bit. |

Not Synchronizedby BrianRComment: The subjects are lost against the background and it is difficult to make them out. The first two birds appear headless. The blue water at the top also looks over processed and unnatural. A different angle, possibly with the birds against the water only or the sky would've made them stand out more. |

Swimby freakin_hilariousComment: This doesn't quite stop the motion. The blur on the tail makes it seem as though it is moving. What really hurts this shot is that the fish is not facing the camera and the spots all over frame are not attractive. |

Get off my perchby dmaddenComment: Finally a good battle scene. :) The colors/highlights in the stork/pelican stand out strong against the overcast sky. I hope it shows well on non-calibrated monitors so other voters notice that. Focus/Sharpness is well executed. |

Irish Airtimeby tano_goochComment: I like this shot for its simplicity and clarity. The grey background is a bit dull and the use of the wide angle lens causes her extended leg to appear slightly larger and out of proportion. The model's stare is captivating and there is a strength that implied in the "pose" - straight arm, straight leg and the calf muscle. The focus and composition are outstanding. The good definitely outweigh the the two minor negative points. This gets a very high rating from me and added to my favorites. Well done. |

The Landingby hotrollComment: This was a good attempt, but the blue jay is lost in the composition. The colors are good on the bird, but it lighting is harsh and the bird is out of focus and part of the background. |

Floating to the eyeby littlegettComment: The missile aspect of this is well-captured and the placement in the frame is excellent. The border you put on, IMO, is unnecessary, though. |
