The foreground blends into the background too much for me. Also, there could be a bit of colour in this to enhance it a bit. It's also not very sharp (which to me would be important in a shot like this).

This is really a great shot, but the glass is an abstract concept in it. I would never think "glass" if I saw this outside of the challenge (or at least would never have realised glass was involved). To me, honestly, any photo of anything would fit into this challenge if this one did because every photo is taken through a lens. Anyway, I don't vote down much on DNMC, but I'm sure you might get hammered for it.
