Wow, what an intriguing flower. The only thing that bugs me is the DOF in this image. I'm assuming that the big unfocused area at the right is is another flower that was closer to you, I think it occupies too big of an area and it creates a distraction. Also, the fact that right behind it, something purple is focused throws me off. I would've loved to see this flower, with the same composition but simply with a nice bokeh in the background.

I would've liked to have more focus in clarity in this picture to really make them stand out agains the white background.

The picture in itself is great. I'm not sure how I feel about it in this challenge though. If the challenge title was flowers, gardens & fields I'd be okay with it.. It just seems to me as if you don't have a whole lot of flowers, or as if they're not a big part of the overall picture.

However, I do have to say that those are gorgeous trees to have in your front yard!

I find the DOF very interesting, and a little intriguing in this picture. Especially between the 2 flowers in the middle.. The focused flower is VERY defined against the unfocused one.
