Autumn Memoriesby wildirisComment: Good timing. I like the way the clouds echo the movement and shape of your flying leaves (or visa versa). The oak tree seems oldly small in relation to your subject. Maybe just a variety I've never experienced. |

Climbers Aloftby bvoiComment: Whoooooooooaaaaaaaaa. I feel a little vertigo. Very nice. Looks like you used a polorizer to bring down the sky? Nice details in the shadows and in the highlights as well. |

The Old Church Windowby dallasduxComment: This could be very interesting if you expose for the inside of the window frame. If you shot in Raw you could layer two copies - one adjusted for the inside exposure and one for the outside. |

Study in Black and Lightby GeneralEComment: High contrast subject doesn't make for a great B&W photo. If you had zoomed in tight on the magnifier perhaps you could have found your middle tones. |

Against the Oddsby SaraRComment: You exposed for the background which cost you highlights on the tree (your subject) and details in the shadows. Did you try bracketing your shot? If you shoot in Camera Raw you can make adjustments to your exposure. |

Motorcycle Vetsby levyj413Comment: This really catches my eye. My eye is swept downward from the white and empty sky to the dark and clustered foreground. Very effective and well composed. |

Sleeperby NefirComment: What an optical illusion. This appears much taller than 640, but I know its not. I think the orientation of the figure throws me off. I would have liked a deeper dof on this shot to give more of the sense that he's a part of, not separate from, his surroundings. |

Seeking Peaceby GrayGhostComment: Wonderful tonal range from black blacks to white whites and everything in between. Love the one ripple in the water reminding us of the illusion we deal with. |

Perspirationby MWittComment: Oh that you had set this in a more picturesque placement. The pumpkin is a great subject; the chair is boring. Check your levels for black and white point - your contrast is a bit shallow. |
