What a shame modern man hasn't devised a way to prevent these leviathans from destroying our beautiful landscapes. We photogs have learned to live with them, haven't we?. Seems you were shooting in fairly bright light, ergo the high contrast. I like your composition, but may have preferred it a little less centered.

Day 28 - Magnetic Alphabet

Oh, I can just hear this conversation:

Ken - 'Amanda, please, I'll do anything if you'll let me use the coffee beans for my last shot'

Amanda, a bit distracted by the kids activity in the next room - 'Anything, Ken? Really? Well, what am I supposed to for my last shot? Have you thought about that?'

Ken quickly looks around and, fumbling with his camera to his eye, accidentally zooms while pointing and clicking at the refer. - 'Oh, I don't know, Amanda, I'm sure you'll come up with something'

He distractedly looks at the jumbled shot he took by accident and prepares to delete it.

And, as Amanda disgustedly glares into the back of his camera, she realizes the incredible potential Ken's accidental shot has as her lightening quick mind processes the idea.

Amanda - 'Alright, Ken, just this once, but you do owe me. Um...now, how about taking the kids out to the movies while I try to come up with something? OK? And, you be thinking about how you're going to make this up to me.'

Ken - "Thank you, dear, thank you sooo much. I just love you sooo much. Sure...' 'Kids, lets goooo'.

Oh, the ubiquitous Canadian Goose. We have tons of them here, as well. That's not a complaint. They always make for good photography. Is that a bit of snow in the background? Gives this shot an interesting mixture of warmth and cold at the same time. I love the lights - they all look lit in the sunlight.

HO Ho, so it' true. You are the thief Ken claims you to be. At least you gave him credit in your title. lol. Nice parting shot, Amanda. Very nicely arranged and the lighting is just right. And the burlap really pops against that black background. Love this.

Well, personally, I'm glad wickee_one 'stole' your last shot, because I love this one. Wonderful light and texture, and a great composition. I'm assuming that's ice on the pier because I don't know what else it could be. The reflection is wonderful. It's a very cozy looking house with the warmth of the sun and the chairs out front. Well done, Ken.

Boy that blue just jumps right out. Interesting effect from the filter. Kind of makes it even more 'old timey' than it already is. Nicely photographed.
