Outtedby inspir8tionComment: Beautifully capture squirrel. Focus on the eyes is great and tonality id excellent. The lower background, unfortunately, is a major distraction. |

The Lonely Ballerinaby DjabordjaborComment: Superb expression capture. Well done. The shadow on the lower right is a distraction, especially since your model's arm directs attention to it.. |

Spunby ImagineerComment: Nicely done. You might want to consider how it would affect the composition if you offset the spinner the center, possibly to one of the rile of thirds intersection points. |

Teofilia Slupecka 1826-1874by smykComment: You did far better at what I tried to do, capture tree movement with your long exposure. As a result, I didn't submit. :) Nicely done. |

night life...by HairlessmanComment: There is too much uninteresting detail in the foreground and sky, the crop and perspective are nothing special, the trucks are ordinary and not well lighted or positioned, the street lacks interest, the purple of the store is over the top color, etc, etc... there are any number of reasons this should be considered a lousy photograph... but...
Your processing of and inclusion of lighting and color in this composition is pure genius. The way you've made the hangout building bright white to stand out is amazing. Even the purple color adds mysterious attraction for the locals in the mind of this reviewer. The yellow lighting from the streetlight on the road adds much. The way you've processed the illumination on the trees is incredible. The sharpness of the building and trees is perfect. |

Masonby Elvis_LComment: Curious image. Based on the tree on the left it looks like you were after something I tried to capture, wind swaying tree branches. I actually tried several variations on that theme, but could not capture it well so did not enter. For me I like to identify with reasons why an image is the way it is. I like the IR in the trees but the color, though intentinal, does not work so well for me. Could be the shadows on the tombstones are also intentional but that still does not work so well with me either. I'd like to see more illumination on the names and pure black and white always works well with cemetaries. |
