"Death of an Angel" by Carol Anne O'Marie by kiwinessComment: Originally posted by pidge: Have you considered (or did you?) shoot the image with out the tube top on the woman? Artistically, with the wonderful lighting and shadows, the skin would be quite wonderful |
It was my first idea actually, but the girl is not 18 yet so I couldn't ask her. |

"Death of an Angel" by Carol Anne O'Marie by kiwinessComment: Thanks for all your comments and votes. I tried this out with a basic soft box studio lighting set up but it didn't really give it the kick I was looking for, so I set up the lighting to give it more of a theatrical feel to it. I am very happy with this photo, thank you all again.

At first glance it looks like her arm is bulging out, but obviously this girl is not fat so I don't know how that could be. Also, there seems to be a weird discoloration on her hip right above the cloth. Is that a trick of the light, or is that a result of cloning, or what? |
Actually her arm does look a little out when I look at it, but that only comes from her upper arm being pressed against Serdar's leg. And the discoloration I couldn't see on my monitor, but after pumping up the brightness I saw what you meant. I didn't do any selective skin work on this image so it is probably from trying to pull out too much information from the shadows or something. Anyway on a good calibrated monitor you should be able to see that. On the print it is also not visible. |

Ring by stare_at_the_sunComment: Super shot, one of the better ones, even one of the best in this challenge. Done well too, love the composition. One thing gets to me though, there is an amazing background here with the moon rippling so awesomely across the water. One is being pulled back and forth between that amazing background and your main subject in the foreground. |

Reflectionby ElaineComment: Nice capture and good idea. Unfortunately I am looking at this on my TFT laptop and I see the two little round circular brush marks middle up and left on the top shell just on the edge. It is only because me monitor is showing lighter than usual so I guess it won't be picked up by most :) |
